Customer Support — Availability & Response Times
Khata Billing is committed to supporting every customer who uses our platform. However, by using our services, you agree to and acknowledge the following support terms:
1. Support Channels
We provide customer support through multiple channels, including phone calls, SMS, WhatsApp, email, and in-app support tickets. While we strive to be available across all channels, the availability and response speed of each channel may vary depending on current demand, staff availability, and the nature of your query.
2. Response Time Expectations
We do not guarantee instant or same-day responses to all support requests. Response times may be affected by:

Complexity of the issue — technical or billing issues may require escalation and additional investigation time.

Business hours — our primary support hours are Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM IST. Support requests submitted outside these hours, on Sundays, or on public holidays will be addressed on the next available business day.

Staff availability due to team size, training, or unforeseen circumstances.
While we target a response within 1–2 business days for most queries, more complex issues may take longer. We appreciate your patience and assure you that every support request is logged and attended to in the order it is received.
3. Every Customer Receives Support
We do not deprioritize or ignore any customer’s support request. Every registered user — whether on the free plan or a paid subscription — is entitled to receive support assistance. However, the priority and speed of support may differ based on subscription tier, severity of the issue, and channel used.
4. Support Delays Are Not Grounds for Cancellation or Refund
Important: Delays in support response — whether due to high request volumes, weekends, holidays, or technical complexity — do not constitute a failure of service and are not valid grounds for subscription cancellation, account credit, or refund requests of any kind. Support availability and speed do not form part of the subscription pricing or guarantees.
If you feel your support request has not been addressed within a reasonable time, we encourage you to follow up via email at khatabilling@gmail.com with your registered mobile number and a description of your issue. We will prioritize follow-up requests.
5. Accurate Information Required for Support
To help us resolve your issue quickly, please provide accurate and complete information when raising a support request — including your registered phone number, business name, and a clear description of the problem. Incomplete or inaccurate information may delay resolution.
Subscription, Platform Use & Acceptable Conduct

Khata Billing subscriptions are provided on an annual basis. By subscribing, you agree to our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in a manner that violates applicable Indian laws, including but not limited to GST regulations, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and any applicable RBI guidelines.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter into the platform, including GST numbers, invoices, and financial records.

You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, duplicate, or redistribute any part of the Khata Billing platform or its underlying code.

Khata Billing reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in violation of these terms, without obligation to provide a refund.
Limitation of Liability
We as a merchant shall be under no liability whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly out of the decline of authorization for any Transaction, on Account of the Cardholder having exceeded the preset limit mutually agreed by us with our acquiring bank from time to time.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Khata Billing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Surat, Gujarat, India.
